Benedict’s prescription for a life built upon prayer and the three vows of stability, obedience, and conversion of heart has been a continual source of strength in a world which is often unstable and uncertain. The Friends of Saint Benedict’s primary mission is to introduce and sustain the Benedictine way of life to all persons. We offer opportunities through Benedictine Experiences and pilgrimages, through our newsletter and by promoting the “Benedictine Way” small group concept through parishes and other organizations. To carry out our mission, the Friends need friends who can support us! We have a small staff of 1.3 persons and all the expenses associated with running a small nonprofit, from supplies to salaries. We earnestly ask you to join the Friends of St. Benedict. Our administrative expenses average $55,000 per year which includes salaries for our director and assistants, office expenses, and our newsletter, REGULA.
